EU868 LoRa Antennas for Meshtastic & MeshCore
The single biggest range improvement you can make to any Meshtastic or MeshCore device is upgrading the antenna. A properly tuned EU868 antenna delivers more range than any firmware setting or device placement ever will.
Every antenna below is specifically tuned for the 868 MHz frequency band — no wideband compromises. The outdoor omni-directional models (3–9 dBi) are manufactured by McGill Microwave Systems (UK), achieving a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better — meaning over 97% of your transmit power reaches the air instead of reflecting back into your radio.

Connector & Adapter Info
All McGill outdoor antennas use an N-Male connector. To connect them to a Meshtastic device, you'll need either:
- An N-Female to SMA-RP-Male adapter (€9.98) for a direct connection to devices with RP-SMA ports (Repeater Mini)
- An LMR-400 coaxial cable for longer runs between antenna and device (recommended for rooftop installations)
The compact 2.6 dBi portable antenna has an N-Male connector and also requires the adapter above to connect to handheld devices.
All antennas are compatible with Meshtastic, MeshCore, Helium, LoRaWAN, and any other EU868 device or gateway.
