The Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V3 combines an ESP32-S3 dual-core processor, SX1262 LoRa transceiver, 0.96" OLED display, WiFi, Bluetooth, and lithium battery management — all on a single compact board. It's the board that most people start their Meshtastic journey with, and for good reason: it works, it's affordable, and the community support is unmatched.
Flash Meshtastic or MeshCore firmware via the web flasher in your browser, pair it with the app on your phone, and you're on the mesh. No soldering, no programming — just plug in and flash.

What Can You Do with It?

Good to Know
The V3 is an ESP32-based board, which means it consumes more power than nRF52-based devices like the WisMesh Pocket V2. On battery, expect 1–2 days of runtime depending on settings. For multi-day portable use, an nRF52 device is the better choice. For home nodes on mains power, MQTT gateways, or projects that need WiFi — the V3 is ideal.

Note: battery and USB cable are not included. Any 3.7V Li-Po battery with SH1.25-2 connector will work. The board is not pre-flashed — use the Meshtastic Web Flasher or MeshCore Flasher to install firmware in under 2 minutes.
