Which Capacity Do I Need?

Runtime estimates assume a typical Meshtastic client configuration on an nRF52840-based WisBlock. Actual runtime depends on transmit frequency, GPS usage, and settings.

Check Polarity Before Connecting

Important: there is no universal standard for the pin order on PH battery connectors. Different manufacturers wire positive and negative in different positions. Before connecting any battery to your board, verify that the red wire (positive) aligns with the positive marking on your board's battery port. Connecting a battery with reversed polarity can permanently damage your board. These PKCell batteries follow the polarity convention used by RAKwireless WisBlock base boards, but a five second visual check protects a fifty euro board.

Safety Notice

Lithium polymer batteries require correct handling. Charge only via the device's onboard charging circuit or a compatible LiPo charger. Do not puncture, short circuit, expose to fire, or leave in extreme temperatures. Store at approximately 50 percent charge between +10°C and +25°C when not in use. Dispose of used batteries at your local battery recycling point, in accordance with EU battery regulations.
