Business Sales →A complete GPS mesh node, ready to run Meshtastic or MeshCore out of the box. The Heltec Mesh Node T096 packs an nRF52840 processor, a high-power SX1262 LoRa radio, onboard GPS, and a 0.96" display into an ultra-low-power board that is perfect for portable trackers, asset tracking, and battery or solar powered nodes.
Configured for the EU868 band, it works straight away with every other Meshtastic and MeshCore device on your local mesh.
Why the T096?
- High transmit power: the SX1262 with integrated PA delivers 28±1 dBm, at the top end of what LoRa hardware offers, for excellent range and link reliability
- Onboard GPS (UC6580): multi-constellation positioning (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, NAVIC, QZSS) for accurate location sharing on the mesh
- Ultra-low power: the nRF52840 draws just 12 µA in sleep, far below ESP32 boards, for genuinely long battery life
- Built-in display: a 0.96" screen shows messages and status without needing your phone
- Battery and solar ready: integrated lithium battery management with dedicated battery and solar connectors, ideal for autonomous nodes
- Compact: just 52 x 25.4 x 10.26 mm
What You Can Build
- Portable GPS tracker: share your position on the mesh while hiking, sailing, or working off-grid
- Asset tracking node: low-power GPS reporting for vehicles, equipment, or shipments
- Solar mesh node: pair with a small solar panel for an autonomous node that runs for months
- Everyday Meshtastic device: a compact handheld node with display and GPS

What's in the Box
- 1 × Mesh Node T096 (EU868)
- 1 × LoRa antenna
- 1 × SH1.25x2 battery connector
- 2 × pin header
Note on GNSS Antenna
The board uses an onboard LDS GNSS antenna by default, which works well outdoors. For demanding applications you can switch to an external GNSS antenna via the IPEX connector by repositioning a resistor, as described in the Heltec documentation.
Pair It With
- Flexible LoRa Whip Antenna (€17,95): upgrade the range with a tuned antenna
- Heltec 3000mAh Battery (€9,95): add power for portable and solar builds
- U.FL to SMA Male Cable (€5,95): route an external antenna out of your enclosure
